Lightning Bolt power-up
The Lightning Bolt is a power up currently exclusive to Call of the Dead. It is obtained after completing the Original Character's Trapped easter egg. It is actually the Wunderwaffe DG-2, but in power up form and will disappear after all the ammo has been used, traded for a Death Machine, or if one is downed while in possession of it. Like the Death Machine, you cannot brandish another weapon while using it
Trivia
- Up until now, the DG-2 was presumed destroyed after it overloaded the MDT at Der Riese. A radio in Shi No Numa ( Black Ops) confirms this.
- It will not kill George A. Romero in one hit, despite having infinite damage.
- The way the character's in Call of the Dead move while having the power up is slightly different from the revamped versions of the World at War zombie maps.
- There can only be one in use in a single game.
- After obtaining the achievment ( Ensemble Cast), when George A. Romero is defeated, he will always drop a Lighting Bolt power up ( Online play only). The same goes for finishing the easter egg while playing solo.
- It has the same pick up icon as the Death Machine.
