Template:Weapon Template:Gunbox The Kar98k is a bolt-action rifle featured on all Nazi Zombies maps excluding Shi No Numa, where it is replaced by the Japanese counterpart, the Arisaka. The Kar98k is one of the weapons that is weak against hellhounds.
Overview[]
It is available off the wall for 200 points (100 for ammo) and can also be retrieved from the Mystery Box. It is generally effective for the first three rounds, where it kills in a single headshot. It will usually take two headshots to kill at round 4, where it can still be used effectively. After round 5, it is quite useless with its low damage and low rate of fire, and should be traded for a more reliable weapon, such as the Thompson. In Nacht der Untoten, it's possible to obtain a scoped Kar98k for 1500, which is considerable more powerful, but has a slower bolt cycling, slower reload and the scope is very impractical in the restricted ambients of the map.
The Armagedddon[]
It can be Pack-a-Punched on Der Riese, making it "The Armageddon". The Armageddon is similar to the scoped Kar98k in Nacht Der Untoten in terms of power. It has an 8 round clip and 60 rounds in reserve. It is not recommended to upgrade the Kar98k as it still has low damage compared to other upgraded weapons.
